What have I been up to?

So, it’s been a long time since I was regularly blogging and a lot has happened. Job wise I have all but given up seeking a role in the UK as my experiences in the UK job market have been less than positive (my job hunting adventures will be the subject of a post in the near future) so I have focused my attention abroad. I have been targeting one particular company who operate in the Middle East and whom I have been speaking with since February and I am pleased to say that I am at offer stage with them. I won’t give out any more details as I have yet to actually sign a contract but what I will say is that it’s a company who’s values closely match my own. One thing that I learned from my adventures in Egypt is that if you do plan to move to the MENA (middles east/north Africa) region you need to make sure that you are with the right company.

Other than job hunting I have managed to find a number of things to keep me occupied! My little boy also keeps me busy and its hard to believe that he’s 8 months old.
