As a man who has spent the vast majority of his life not wanting children most people who know me were somewhat surprised when my little boy came along. He was born last November and sadly due to the fact that I was working in Egypt at the time I missed the first two months of his life, thankfully I have been able to make up for this by spending the last 5 months with him. This is something that I am really glad that I did as having the opportunity to properly bond with him as well as watching him develop has been fantastic. He is a well travelled little boy, having visited France, Italy and Spain (not that he will remember any of this!) and seems to enjoy being in a car.
I have blogged about him in the past and on occasion will give people who are interested an update on how he’s doing. He will of course be coming out to the Middle East with me and I am certain that exposing him to new things (even at this tender age) will be a benefit.
