More bloodshed in Egypt

Watching the news yesterday made me very depressed, the violence in Egypt is escalating with calls from the brotherhood for their supporters to march layer today. Friday is never a good day as people tend to go to the mosque then look for something to do, these day this something to do involves protesting!

Talking to some of my Egyptian friends has given me a useful insight into what’s going with many of them saying that the government had no choice but to disperse the camp and they are generally supportive of what is happening. There was little sympathy for Morsi from non MB supports even before I left the country and since then attitudes have hardened and people just want to see the back of the old regime with one person telling me that Morsi and his crew had their chance, they messed up so now they have to make way for someone who can get the job done.

No one condones the shedding of blood but people are seeing it as a necessary evil, a process which has to be gone through to finally rid the country of the MB.
