With the first set if GDP number due in around 20 minutes there is a general expectation that economic growth is gathering pace. What was interesting was being in Westfield shopping centre with a group of international marketers and hearing from them how their perception was that the UK economy was doing badly but having looked around Westfield it looked like the country was really doing well! I did talk to them about the fact that London is almost a country in itself theses days and that whilst things were looking up across the UK the effects of a growing economy were most visible in London.
On the personal front there has still been no news on the visa and as today is a holy day for Saudis I am not expecting to hear anything until Monday. Of course this is far from ideal but there is nothing I can do about it. To be honest my personal life is becoming rather complicated but this blog is not the place to talk about that.
It’s going to be a stressful week ahead for all sorts of reasons.
