We had a lovely day celebrating my sons belated birthday with some friends and his grandparents. Sadly I was unable to make his actual birthday which for him is no bad thing as he has had two parties and two sets of presents. He had a lovely time and was very excited about his new presents, his long suffering parents are less excited as this means even more things to clear up. It never ceases to amaze me the trail of devastation which this tiny little thing manages to leave wherever he goes. What is really fun is watching our two cats make a run for it whenever they see him coming as he has a habit of trying to grab their fur, for the moment this is no huge problem as they are significantly quicker than Alex and the hope is that he will have grown out of this by the time he is quick enough to get near them.
I head over to my parents in the North East today and will be staying with them for a few days. I don’t get to see much of them so I’m looking forward to this.
