Watched the celebrations for the 50th anniversary last night which brought back fond memories, like many people my age I grew up with doctor who and remember hiding behind the sofa at the sight of cybermen and other assorted monsters. Not sure about my favourite doctor, I like the recent ones but felt that Paul Magann did a great job, balancing humour and an edgy dark side. As to my favourite assistant, I think the last two have been great, especially Karen Gillan who I think will go on and do some great things with her career.
Today is going to be a quite day, with lunch at Moira’s parents and a trip to the local pub to watch United versus Cardiff
