Yesterday isn’t looking too different to yesterday. I’m still meeting a lot of people for the first time and also working out how best to get things done and more importantly who I need to talk to about getting things done….
Still doing a lot of strategic thinking and talking to various people to try and validate some of my conclusions. I am also arranging sessions with my team to pull together sections of the plan which require their contribution, especially the numbers. I am fortunate to have a very good business analyst who also looks after projects and he will be an invaluable resource. Still haven’t got a date in the diary with regards to presenting it but will look to finalise that by the end of this week/early next week.
Not too much travelling on the cards this week other than trips to Watford, Birmingham and Tamworth, it’s a good job that I like driving as I have managed to put over 2000 miles behind me in the last month.
