I’m in Birmingham for the first of several strategy days with my team. Today we will be focusing on People with debate on a number of areas such as, how we an move our customer service onto a different level, how we transition onto a new structure, ways in which we can improve profitability. We have a number of other topics to debate and I am looking forward to lots of input from various team members.
Today is the start of a process which culminates with a presentation to my line manager at the end of the month. The potential in this business is huge and the temptation is to go after as many things as possible within the first year, this is a temptation which I will be resisting. Instead I will be putting together a fully costed three year plan within which will be an execution and communication plan.
