On Boarding

Gaining in buy in for what I’m trying to do is crucial. The task I have been set is pretty big and it’s not something that my team and I are going to achieve on our own. This sounds pretty obvious but after many years in business I have learned that whilst something might seem obvious there are generally lots of reasons why organisations ignore the obvious. Anyway, that’s not an error that I’m planning to make.
The on boarding sessions are aimed at senior colleagues from around the business with the plan being that I go out and start to communicate this across the business in January. We will also be working with our creative people to come up with an impactful poster which we will also use to communicate the plan.

I noticed in the news that yet another enquiry into the death of Diana has resulted in them finding that there was no conspiracy. I was not caught up in the whole hysteria which marked her passing (I’m sorry, but it just cannot get upset over the death of someone I never actually knew) and the fact that this whole sorry saga has rumbled on over the years is just sad. What must her family feel every time someone else puts forward yet another “theory”? All I can say is its time to let her and the others who died that night rest in peace.
