Just got in after the drive up from London, the weather was terrible with lots of rain and high winds, the only good news was that the traffic was light.
I was listening to the radio and heard about the situation at Cardiff City football club, where the manager has apparently been sent an email telling him to resign or be sacked. Now no one knows of this has actually happened but if it has, you have to ask the question “what on earth were they thinking of?” It doesn’t take a genius to know that you cannot treat people like this. If you do want to exit your manager you need to do things properly. You have a without prejudice conversation which is dignified and professional during which you do your best to ensure that the situation is handled sensitively. The substance of the conversation remains private and the person is allowed to leave with their head held high.
I feel sorry for all involved with Cardiff City as the whole situation is pretty bad.
Methinks it’s time for bed.
