Yet another busy and rather long day, this morning we are making the final adjustments to the numbers and then assembling the pack reader for Tuesday. This afternoon I have my team together to take them through the numbers and the presentation before we head out for our team night out in a local Pizza Express, after which I am driving back to Cheshire as I have local site visits planned for tomorrow.
My presentations to various people around the office have gone as well as could be expected and I have been pleased at both the responses that I have received and the generally positive feedback that people have given the plan. All I have to do now is convince my boss!
It’s certainly been a hectic time but I have really enjoyed the last few weeks, I have been especially pleased at how well my team has risen to the challenge. Of course, the real work starts after Christmas when we move to the implementation phase of the plan, this is where the wheat usefully gets sorted from the chaff….
Finally, I have a new car, well it’s not exactly new but you know what I mean. I’m quite excited as I have been running around in old bangers for the last 5 months (as a Yorkshireman I have appreciated the cheap running costs!) and given the number of miles that I will be doing I needed something a little nicer.
