Whilst there are so many positive things in my life right now, the getting up at 4am to drive down to London every Monday is certainly not one of them. Unfortunately until I get my flat there isn’t a great deal that I can do about it.
We have more range reviews to do this week as we are doing them brand by brand, as I mentioned before, they are more attempts to tidy up the range ahead of pulling together our competitor benchmarking. We plan to carry these out monthly and as time passes the process will become somewhat more sophisticated.
Thursday will be an exciting day is we hold our first food innovation group meeting in Tamworth, this meeting will bring people together from all parts of the business with the aim of reviewing what the food team is currently working on and obtaining their suggestions as to what we should be looking at next. It is essentially a forum for taking on board feedback and suggestions and we hope that people will find it interesting whilst at the same time feeling that they are part of something bigger.
