It’s been a long day

I’ve just arrived in Southampton ready for tomorrow’s meeting. The drive down from Birmingham was awful as it rained all the way. I’ve stopped for a bite to eat before having a bath and an early night, thankfully i don’t have to be up at 5am tomorrow!
Poor Alex is teething and not well at all and hopefully I will see him before he goes to bed tomorrow night. Whenever I arrive back home after a long week he toddles over to me and waits for me to pick him up and give him a cuddle which (at the risk of sounding soppy) is the highlight of my week.
Today has been an excellent day with lots of good ideas, the people who we invited were glad to be there and I think they will be advocates for what we want to do.
The journey to make the BHS food offer something to be proud of is going to be long and hard but this week feels like we have taken another step on the journey,
