Harris & Hoole

I have to admit to really liking this brand, not least because the guy who runs the operations is an old friend of mine from SSP days. I love the decor, very natural and very on trend and the stores have a nice feel which manages to add character to even the blandest of retail units. I am sat typing this in Uxbridge having arrived very early for my meeting with our head of marketing. We have the day booked out to discuss how we approach the task of giving our brands some character and to decide on the brand “tone of voice” as well as working out how to articulate what we want to stand for. This work will help me as I work with our designers on the outlets which we plan to remodel in the near future.

It’s been a long, tiring but very productive week with lots of highs. In my line of work you try and treasure weeks like this as you know that there will always be the odd week which won’t be quite as exciting or as productive as you would like.

Next week has me on the road quite a bit as I spend a day focusing on new builds, a day focusing on coffee and a day touring some of our test shops.

Finally back to Harris & Hoole, I have enjoyed my breakfast this morning and appreciated the prompt friendly service. These guys deserve to be very successful.
