Quiet weekend

It’s been a lazy weekend, it’s worth noting that my definition of lazy differs to most people…..

Yesterday we headed out to sign the papers on Moira’s new car, which is a practical but not exactly exciting Ford BMax. It’s very Alex friendly which at the moment is the overriding concern. We bought it new unlike my cars which are usually second hand. She doesn’t do many miles and buying new means that she will have hassle free motoring for a couple of years. I on the other hand do so many miles that the longest I keep a car is 6 months before swapping into another car. I tend to get them from an auction which is a bit of a lottery as you cannot drive the car you wish to bid on.

The rest of yesterday was spend taking Alex to an aquarium which he enjoyed then then for lunch at Nandos.

I am a fan of Nandos but it is starting to get a little pricy for what you get but in terms of the food and the service.

Today will involve pottering around the house and some treadmill sessions as well as the usual preparing for the week ahead which thankfully will only involve a couple of days away from home as most of the week will be spent in the midlands and north West.
