It’s been a roller coaster of a week

Well, that’s another week over, it’s been a bit of a bumpy ride with some real highs and lows. This of course was to be expected.

As I emerge relatively unscathed from the week I have learned (or reminded myself of) some valuable lessons.

1. Assumption is the mother of all f—k ups.
2. Never underestimate the power of an engaged and motivated group of people.
3. The more brain power the better.
4. Building and maintaining relationships is key.
5. The ability to keep several plates spinning and to multi task is also key.
6. s–t happens so invest in a helmet.

I ended the week on a bit of a high having had a wonderful visit to our outlet in Sheffield, what was really impressive was that one of the team had taken it upon herself to learn how to do latte art and was very proudly showing off her skills.

So that’s it for another week. Time to load up cars ready for the trip down to London tomorrow.
