It still amazes me how many companies try and penny pinch when it comes to people. Creating a successful business becomes immeasurably easier when you have the opportunity to work with talented and inspiring people as not only do they do an effective job they also inspire you to do better.
Part of any (so far limited) success that I have achieved at BHS has been on the back of bringing in a couple of good people who have already started to make a difference. Hopefully as I complete my team the rate of progress will increase which in turn will give our people greater confidence.
