Presenting – a few tips

I quite enjoy presenting to large groups of people, mind you that was not always the case. Years ago I would virtually write out a script and then attempted to memorise it which meant that my delivery was often stilted. These days I just just rough out some notes so I am clear about what I want to tell my audience and then focus on my delivery, I try and ensure that I keep a reasonable pace and that I use expressive body language, I also try and include the odd funny quip. I tend to move around the stage and work hard to ensure that I don’t deliver in a flat monotone.
I’m not the worlds best presenter but I do the best job that I can.
