Had a lot of fun at the conference today, the various presentations were really interesting and well delivered and the whole event has given everyone a lift. BHS has some exciting things in the pipeline and I think that our customers are going to be very pleasantly surprised over the next few months.
I was especially pleased with my presentation, it flowed really well, my carefully rehearsed jokes didn’t come across as carefully rehearsed and got some laughs, the pace was just right and I was pleased with both my body language and my tone of voice. I’m my biggest critic but even I was pleased with my performance.
Tonight we are having a dinner which will present me with some excellent opportunities to interact with our store managers.
