After the excitement of yesterday today has everyone focused on the day job. I am a week or so away from going on holiday so there is lots to pack into the next 6 working days. Different people have different ways of dealing with holidays and keeping in touch with work and over the years I have decided on an approach which suits me. I tend to be awake by 5am even when I am not at work and since no one else in my household is awake at this time I tend to spend 30 minutes or so dealing with emails as I don’t really like to come back from holiday to a couple of hundred emails and also by doing this it means that I don’t take my work phone around with me. I fully appreciate that this approach wont suit everyone and some people might even accuse me of not being able to properly let go, this really isn’t the case. I just like to keep up to date with the basic admin.
For the next two days I am out and about visiting stores and meeting suppliers.
