Our roads just seem to be getting busier, it’s half term so I thought that I would home reasonably early yesterday having left the office at a reasonable time, sadly my holes were dashed and it was nose to tail traffic the whole way home…….I just don’t remember it being so bad. Our three new team members and I are visiting some stores today, the plan being to visit Staines then Uxbridge. I’m looking forward to seeing Staines as this is the location of the first BHS food store. The plan is to take the guys through the three year plan so that they get a sense of what we are trying to achieve and the part they will be playing. we round off the day in Uxbridge before I then head over to. Boreham wood and a meeting with a friend of our chief execs.
We spent some time yesterday taking a look at how we can improve some of our core hot dishes and hopefully we will soon have something which we can put into our test shops. We are going for something which is more “home made” and better quality and we are also looking to see how we can improve our vegetables.
