I’m on the 8am train back to London as I have a busy day ahead of me. Its been a lovely few days here in Scotland but the long weekend is almost over and to be honest I’m keen to get back to work.
My trip up to visit the team in Edinburgh was really useful and we have come up with some ideas which will enhance the business in Scotland, the best of these being our desire to feature more local dishes and ingredients on our Scottish menus, this wont be a quick process but I think that this is the right direction in which to go.
Tuesday this week is effectively like a Monday with all the meetings moved back a day and what I am really looking forward to is seeing the sales numbers of our new sandwich range.
