It’s a new week

I suppose that I’m in a minority of people who actually look forward to going back to work on a Monday, I genuinely enjoy the start of the week as there are endless possibilities at BHS.
This week I will be focusing my attention to finalising our plans for unit management structures and working through the details of our new management recruitment process. Also from this week we will be starting to monitor the progress of the newly recruited manager and assessing the impact which they have made in their new units.
Also on the agenda is obtaining sign off on the balance scorecard of KPIs which we will be launching for our hospitality managers and which will feed into the store manager KPIs.
As I mentioned yesterday we start working on our service style project, we have made a lot of progress in creating a visual identity for the different parts of our food offer, we have also begun the process of differentiating the offers based on customer needs and profile so the next element of this is to look at customer service and to ensure that it is geared to meet he needs of our different concepts, for example the restaurants will begin to move towards a great element of table service, they will still be fast casual free flow based operations but we feel that there is room for some table service style which will differentiate the restaurants and the service style which we will deploy in our cafe’s
