Food tasting

Back to work after the long weekend, I’m still not feeling great but a day spent mostly in bad has left me feeling better than yesterday.
Most of today will be taken up with a range review and food tasting, this is now a monthly occurrence as we take a look at what is selling and what isn’t selling and make decisions about what we range going forward. For the first time we actually have information on what was wasted in the previous month which will obviously help the decision making. We have invited people from across the business to participate on the review as this will give us a valuable insight into what’s happening at store level.
As well as reviewing the range our NPD team will be presenting some new dishes and we have invited people from the office to come along and try them. All being well we expect these dishes to hit out test shops in the coming weeks.

Other than that, today is effectively a Monday with all the usual Monday meetings pushed back a day.
