Back in London

Yesterday was a relatively productive day although not one that I wish to repeat anytime soon!
I let London at 4:15 am in order to beat the traffic and to enjoy a relatively relaxed drive up to Huddersfield, as I turned onto the country lanes near my destination I hit what appears to have been a crater and blew my front tyre, one quick change to the (space saving) spare before a mad hunt for a tyre dealer meant I only just made it to the supplier meeting in time. I had to leave my wheeler at the dealer as they had to order me a tyre so having had a productive meeting with the supplier and sampled some of their food ideas I dashed back to get my tyre fixed before getting over to Leeds for my next meeting. By now I was two hours late and had a relative short store visit in Leeds before my afternoon conference call with our food coordinators.
Finally I met up with an old friend from my Pret days who has started her own business and is doing really well for herself. After a 90 minute catch up it was time to find the car and make my way home, finally arrive back in London at 9:30 pm! I went straight I bed as I had to be up at my usually 4:15am this morning…….there are times when I doubt my own sanity!
