Last week was pretty hectic, we made a couple of steps forward especially on food. The weather helped us hugely an has given us some sales momentum. What has also helped is our “shop and eat program” which rewards our customers with a 20% discount in our restaurants if they purchase something in our main store. We have engaged our shop floor teams who when handing the customer their receipt tells them about the discount available in the restaurant, we have prizes for the sales assistants who refer the most people.
Finally we are busy recruiting area managers, we are looking for keen, hungry multi site managers who want to make the step up to an area manager role.
