The sun is shining

The sun is certainly shining today and we are heading to meet some friends for a stroll along the South bank, prior to this we are going to pop into Spitalfields market for a quick look round.
All in all it has been a good week, overall sales have been strong helped by both the milder weather and our “shop and eat” campaign. This has been very successful in the past but this is the first time that we have taken it company wide, the format is simple and involves the retail teams directing customers to the restaurant after they have made a purchase and telling them about the 20% discount available to them upon product of a receipt. We have prizes available for the sales staff that achieve the most redemptions.
Our carvery seems to be doing well although it is early days, we have high hopes for this and early indications are that it will live up to our expectations. What is also doing is our cream tea which at £2.95 has to be the cheapest on the high street.
