Lots of admin work today, this has not been helped by my losing the power lead for my laptop which happens to be so new that you cannot buy and off the shelf power adaptor…….
My main work today consists of preparing a briefing on how we would work together with the merchandise teams. Hospitality in BHS is not a standalone division as our P&L very much forms part of the main store P&L. Having a codified way of working will be am important step forward and an essential one as we are now recruiting a team of hospitality regional managers.
Also on my agenda today is completing the work on the performance culture document and sending it off for feedback.
Hopefully I will be able to buy a new power cable or at least have our IT people give me access to the email system via my old laptop…..I have my fingers crossed.
