I head back South this afternoon which means no 3am wake up call tomorrow morning. The coming week looks hectic with both my head of operations and I commencing our monthly catch ups with the regional managers where we will be reviewing the P&L performance of their hospitality outlets and discussing their businesses in general. People may read this and ask why it has taken me so long to get around to doing this so it’s worth optioning out that the regional managers don’t actually report in to me and that I don’t actually run the food operation with the exception of 3 trial regions. This will shortly change as we seek to recruit 4 more regional managers which will bring my team up to full strength.
In terms of food launches, July is going to be a busy month with a couple of quite big launches, the most important of which will be taking our freshly made sandwiches across the whole business.
