Coaching day

Today I’m heading over to Newport to spend a day with a group of manager to go through their P&Ls and their latest brand standard reviews. The session is all about coaching them rather than a dry run through if scores and results.
One of our biggest challenges is working with our people to make them more commercial and today is a small step on the journey. In my career I have found that if you invest in people you generally gain a benefit from doing so and I am not just talking about their improved skills but about their much improved engagement and motivation.
After today I ahead up to Manchester to attend a meeting with regional managers to go through our future plans with them, again whilst this is an opportunity to inform the bigger opportunity to to engage and excite, hopefully this is something that I will be able to achieve!
