On the road

After completing (what I felt was) a successful road show in Cambridge I got into my and drove up to the North East for an overnight stay before going on to spend some time with one my area managers this morning over at the Metro Centre. I have a certain nostalgia for the Metro Centre as when I used to live and work in the NE I was a regular visitor.
The purpose of today is to spend time coaching and advising the area manager for this region.
After this I have a meeting with our coffee specialist to go through the results of some of the trials which we have been holding. We are about to make a decision on our future hot drinks strategy so we have been spending time looking at the impact on the wider business if the results of the trial where replicated across the whole chain. That meeting takes place in Stafford and after that I’m heading home!
