It’s been a long difficult week and it’s good to take some time out as next week is going to be pretty intense.
The autumn is finally going to arrive (or so they say) which can only be good news as the weather has had a real impact on my business, what has also had an impact has been the arrival of my operations team who, although it’s early days, are really starting to make a difference by supporting the teams out in the restaurants and cafes. What has also been fantastic to see has been how well our partnership with the retail side of the business is working and how much value it is adding.
Our real challenges still remain, namely effecting the culture change required to ensure that our customers are put at the heart of everything that we do and getting the message out there that BHS hospitality has changed. How well we do in confronting each of those challenges will have a huge influence on the future success of the business.
