The joys of the M1

I left the house at 3:45 this morning and still managed to encounter 20 or so minutes worth of delays as I drove south on the M6 and M1. There was a particularly nasty accident on the M1 northbound with the firefighters busy cutting someone out of their car as I drove past, hopefully they are ok.
