Highs and lows

Yesterday was a rather mixed affair, on one hand I had the pleasure of being with the team in our new Cafe in Merry Hill. We had a great day, the team were lovely, sales were great and I had an endless stream of customers coming up to me to tell me how much they were enjoying our food and the new cafe. Sadly, any warm fuzzy feeling that I might have potentially derived from this positive experience was more than canceled out but events elsewhere which were a major distraction throughout the day.
I spent so much time on the phone that I lost my voice and I can’t remember the last time that happened.
