A good start to the week

The kids have broken up for half term and our sales have vastly improved over the last few weeks, both in absolute terms and also versus prior year and whilst this is encouraging no one is getting carried away as we have a lot of hard work ahead of us if we are to regain the trust of our customers.
The launch of our fresh from the oven range of cakes and pastries has gone down well with customers and will hopefully give us a much needed boost ahead of peak trading.

Today is a busy day with various meetings which will focus on our next marketing campaign as well as creating the brief for our January launch. Thankfully the pace of change has slowed down considerably so my team is able to draw breath and do some general tidying up work, taking care if a number of things which have fallen through the cracks.

We now have a few months which will be able about sales growth rather than introducing new products which was always the plan.
