One of the biggest mistakes which you can make in business is to hire people who are not up to the job. Thankfully over my career I haven’t make too many mistakes with people although like everyone I have got it right every time. When I have got it wrong I end up paying a heavy price as not only does the individual negatively impact the performance of their outlet but sucks up resources as you try and support them. Sadly, no matter how much resource you throw at this problem it’s never enough.
This week has been a really strange week, the weather yesterday was simply glorious and predictably we didn’t have a good day.
