Heading North

I’m about to drive up to Leeds where I will be attending meetings at our accounts centre. In fact we have about ten people from a across the business who will be meeting with members of our accounts team to look into some of the issues which we have been having with unaccounted for waste and looking to see how we can simply the way in which our stores process food invoices.
I’m then staying over in Leeds as I’m visiting our stores up in Leeds tomorrow before heading over to the North West to visit our stores in Liverpool and Manchester, both these stores have relatively new hospitality managers so I am keen to see then in their businesses.
We held a “listening group” for managers who are new into the business yesterday which has given us a better insight into how we welcome new people into the business and improve their experience. There was quite a lot of positive feedback from them which is great and they were also very honest about where we need to do better.
