More musings on last week

I really miss travelling by train, in my SSP days I would travel everywhere by train (it helps when all you are visiting is railway stations) which meant that I could get loads of work done on trains and would always be well prepared and up to date. Sadly in my current role I drive just about everywhere as it would be too much hassle to take a train, the upshot is that I drive circa 3000 miles a month and a lot of my time is unproductive. There is no real way around it at the moment as my focus is being out and about supporting the business but this does mean that I feel very much out of the loop on things, ah well, nobody said that this was going to be easy……
