Yet another tough week (these days they all seem to be tough) with the good news being that I am still standing! I had some great site visits, especially in Leeds where the enthusiasm and dedication of our restaurant manager in our Trinity store is exemplary. I also had great visits to Manchester and Liverpool with the two new managers settling in well and already making a difference to those stores. one of the key factors in any future success we may have is people, we have a great team of area managers and some really strong store managers, we just need a few more!
We have a full page add going out in Ok magazine next week which should help drive some additional footfall into our stores, at the very least it will raise awareness of what we have been doing with our food recently.
the most memorable event of the week was my little boy’s second birthday, I was in Egypt and missed his birth and we didn’t really celebrate his first birthday so I was determined to be there at his party which he really enjoyed.
