More site visits

I’m out and about in the North West today before heading back to London. Over the next few weeks my aim is to try and visit 6 sites a week, this is not just a numbers game as whilst I want to hit as many stores as possible I also want to spend enough time there to enable me to add some value. Also high in my agenda is reviewing the various trials which we have running, not the least because one of them deals with ways to reduce waste. Our challenge in this business has always been to maintain credible displays without throwing a lot of product in the bin. We have worked hard to eliminate slow selling lines and to reduce ingredient pack sizes, we still have a way to go but are making progress.
