Reflections

Another week passes with some progress made. Our like for like numbers have taken a step forward although one week of improved numbers will not have me jumping up and down. On a personal note a trip to the doctor has revealed that I have a trapped nerve in my back which is why I have been in so much pain.
I had some good days out with a couple of my area managers and it’s gratifying to see some of the progress being made although the size of the task remains immense as whilst most of our people are responding really well to the challenges which we have set them they still (understandably) require a lot of support and development. Our focus in the new year will not only be on managers but on our supervisors as they have had very little development in recent years.

Next week is going to be an interesting week for all sorts of reasons and as always I will keep you posted.
