What a day

It’s been a funny old day, I’ve been rushing around for part of it and sat down planning for the rest of it. There seems to be so much to do and so little time to do it in, this has really hit home in the last few days and made me stop and think about things. I’ve been wrestling with various issues for the last few months and a recent newspaper article (of all things!) has provided me with some real clarity.

We launched our new coffee in our staff facility today and it went down really well, we have a lot of work to do to create something that we can be proud of but with 600 staff in the building it’s important that we can deliver our colleagues a real quality offer.

Back in the office for a series of meetings tomorrow then back out on the road for the rest of the week. The year is flying by with Christmas just around the corner, I am taking a break over the holidays as the last few months have been full on with some real highs and lows.

Finally, I know that a number of my BHS colleagues read my blog and as I cannot visit every store between now and Christmas I want to express my gratitude for the hard work that everyone has put in. We have pretty much changed our entire offer within 10 months and we couldn’t have done it without the support of our hard working colleagues across the business.

Thanks !
