Boxing Day

If ever you needed evidence of the increasing commercialisation of the festive season you need to look no further than Boxing Day and it’s associated sales. Having said that the January sales have lost some of their impact as many high street stores have been in sale mode for quite some time.
We are not planning to visit any if the sales today, we are spending a quiet day with Moira’s family ahead if tomorrow’s trip to the North East.
I will be visiting a couple of stores just to see how they are trading before heading back to the NW on Monday afternoon.
