Start of a new adventure

Later this morning I’m going to be flying out to Kuwait, I’m obviously excited but this is mixed with a little trepidation as this is a huge move, both in terms of my career but also for my family. What makes things worse is that we are going to be apart for a few weeks until I get organised in Kuwait, the plan is then for Alex and Moira to come out for a month on a tourist visa before heading back to the UK to complete their visa process.
We have had a couple of lovely days, yesterday we had a walk around Windsor castle which was fun although poor Alex still has a cold.
We’ve been staying in the Sheraton Skyline which has been nice, it’s got a gym and I was eased to be able to to get back into the treadmill without any pain in my foot, this has helped me lose a couple more pounds which I’m pleased about.
