It’s been a good day

The day has flown by, lots to take in and lots to do but I’ve had fun. My new company have been super efficient in terms of getting me settled which is great. I’ve met most of my direct reports and they seem a great bunch and I’m really looking forward to working with them.
To start with everything seemed a little strange (which is to be expected) but as the day wore on I found myself feeling much more in tune with things.
Everyone has been really helpful and gone out of their way to make me feel welcome.
Weather wise it’s a bit chilly but warmer than England!
