I’m really enjoying being in Kuwait for all sorts of reasons. Being so close to the sea is fantastic, the range of shopping walls is huge, each one outdoing the other in terms of quality of shops and it’s look and feel. There is a huge variety of restaurants and fast food places so if you like to eat you aren’t going to grow bored anytime soon. The weather also helps immensely, waking up every morning to cloudless blue skies is a real tonic.
The country is one of massive contrasts, you really haven’t begun to imagine what wealthy looks like until you have visited a country such as this one, it’s also a place of real contrasts and this is a theme which I will return to from time to time.
