BHS

I see that my old employers have hit the news with more reports of a sale. This is not a big surprise as there have always been reports such as this circulating although it must be a very unsettling period for the people working there and I hope that things go well for the business. BHS is a real institution and a great company to work for.

That said, I have a new set of challenges to confront! My business plan is almost complete and the first draft will be with my boss tomorrow, I plan to spend a week reviewing it prior to completing a second draft then reviewing it with my team. My main aim is to keep things simple and focused, we have some good people working for us and my job is all about providing direction and motivation as well as ensuring that there are minimal distractions.

On a personal level I’m feeling tired as I haven’t really take any time off since I arrived and have been working 14 hour days. It’s been great fun and I’ve enjoyed doing it but my body is telling me to slow down a little!
