After a lovely weekend spent mostly with my family it’s back to work. I did do some work over the weekend so I am reasonably caught up in terms of my to do list.
Most of today will be taken up with updating the various project planners associated with my business plan ready to present to my boss tomorrow morning. We have made some steady progress on a number of fronts although there remains a huge amount of work to do. What has been pleasing has been the fact that the mature businesses have started to grow their sales, whilst it’s early days and I am taking nothing for granted this is a welcome first step.
Finally I have been following the fortunes of my old employer BHS, with the recent announcement regarding a potential sale and the departure of the MD these must be unsettling times for people, hopefully things will end well as it would be a great shame to this BHS disappear from the high street.
