I did this quite a bit in my BHS days as I used to drive down to London on a Monday morning and if I left after 4am I used to get caught in the traffic as I entered London.
I’m going to be busy all day today so sadly no catching up with old friends and colleagues.
I noticed last week that BHS finally signed a deal with Compass who will now be running their restaurants and cafes, this is a deal that makes a great deal of sense for BHS as it will probably provide some much needed investment in their hospitality business which will hopefully encourage footfall.
My old boss is running the show at BHS, at least for the moment and I wish him lots of luck. He is a great guy and was an absolute pleasure to work for.
