The post I reblogged yesterday was one that I personally found rather interesting as it’s been a while since I stopped paying too much attention to what’s popular in the world of music and stick to what I know and like. Maybe this is a sign of impending old age (I’m 48 so many would already claim that I was old) but I’m not so sure. I suppose I’ve reached a stage of my life where I know what I want and know what I like and deviation from this tends to end badly!
I’m still adventurous when it comes to authors so maybe there is some hope for me yet!
What I have also tried to do recently is moving away from the usual news papers which I read and try different publications to ensure that I get a more rounded view of current affairs, this has been a frustrating process but a good learning experience as I arrive to become more balanced in my outlook.
